Esther Ong
Group Head of Accounts
Esther has more than 20 years of experience in various industries including Mining and Metals, Telecommunications and Commodity Trading. She is currently Head of Accounting for all the Group companies and serves as a Director of the Energy division of the Mercantile & Maritime Group of Companies.
Esther began her career in KPMG before moving to Cargill and later to SingTel. She then spent the next 17 years in BHP where she worked across a range of senior roles in Finance, Risks and Governance and successfully led many business improvements and transformational projects within the Group.
Esther holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
